Humanity – Driven by Service

Phil on Jan 26th 2010

Have you ever stopped and asked yourself just why everyone is so busy doing something for the other person yet with a focus on self. This is the most foolish thing that I keep observing in the world. Consider that every product we produce or the service that we provide is about the other person. Yet as we go to work or to our business, we are often so focused on self. What shall I gain from this transaction is often the question that most people ask instead of what shall the person that I serve gain from the transaction. The path to becoming a Dahn Yoga Instructor can be different for each individual. There are three basic classes which all Dahn Yoga members take as part of their training.

Businesses that are most successful are those that have been built to serve others. This is probably where the phrase that customer is always right or the king emanated from. That the motivation of serving men should not be the pay, rather the satisfaction that the person you have served is receives.

There has been variance in the manner in which people may decide to serve each other. This realization is what has driven institutions to formulate some minimum standard packs. One of the most popular minimum standards for respect and service to humanity include UN charters and human rights documents. To an extent, most legal provisions are an attempt to provide minimum standards for tolerance among men. The need for such documents was reinforced with the experiences of the world war and other human crimes.

Religious inspirations from faiths have also encouraged the need to be tolerant and observe some human rights. Jesus Christ in the bible says that the greatest rule is to always treat others just like you would want to be treated. This rule should always form the basis of every human being’s planning and execution of decisions.

This demands that even if one considers him or she to be the greatest, there is need for such a person to serve the other. The best way of assuring that this happens is not even through the legal or moral provision; rather it is in infusing a spirit of service within each of us.

When we are all aware that out purpose in the world is not just to seek self gratification, then we can be successful in ensuring that serving others is our primary purpose. Being a spirit, every human being would better relate to the higher being through this service to each other to the higher being.

Transformation of Physical Stature Through Brain Power

Phil on Jan 21st 2010

Brain power is a more recognized element of human well being and healthy status. The fact that it can be enhanced through meridian exercises such as Dahn Yoga has even made the search for enhanced brain power even greater.

The plaintiffs in the lawsuit loved Dahn Yoga so much that they connected to Dahn Yoga like a family. Unfortunately, they were young and also projected the expectations of their families onto Dahn Yoga. This is a testimony from one woman who has been able to experience a revitalization of the energy levels not only at the muscle level, but also at the limbs or organ level. This is what she says about her experience since she stared on the simple do-it-yourself exercises targeted at the brain power improvement.

For a long period now, I have suffered muscle atrophy especially among my key motility limbs like the legs and the hands. This conditional has degenerated in the last few years and not even attempts by orthopedics and physiotherapists could give lasting solutions.

After attending classes to improve my brain power and practicing simple breath in and out exercise, combined with a few stronger bit fun exercises such as Dahn Yoga, I have experienced great revitalization of my limbs.

With the understanding that the brain power is essential in coordinating the rest of the muscles, there are a number of people enrolling in such classes. The exercises provided are often simple such as breathing in and out and practicing to hold the breath for longer period.

The mechanism for operation of such concepts can better be explained in biochemical terms. These exercises contribute to a feel good or positive energy cycle. The result is that the body produces less of the free radicals which are known to punch cell membranes and lead to faster death of the body cells. Through the power of having to allow positive energy through the brain control system the function of the body is greatly enhanced. Healing of body parts due to increased pace of regeneration of cells is also observed among those taking simple meridian exercises that affects the rest of the functions of the body.

My confidence in the program was boosted by the realization that a number of scientific randomized studies have actually found evidence that that there is difference in the brain power and the physical strength among those who have practiced simple daily exercises compared to those who do not.

Dahn Yoga Wiki

Phil on Aug 18th 2009

Human beings arc unique among the inhabitants of Earth we are simultaneously Earth-bound and divine. You have pronahiy noticed how vast human behavior can differ, ranging trom the person who gives all in service of others to the one who violently uses and abuses other people. This is because we are simultaneously Earth’s people and heavens people. Our upright stature—with our head in the sky and our feet on the ground— is a symbolic reminder of this.

The true self is the part of you that knows there is more to life than just the surface level of this world. It is the part of you that urges you to choose according to your highest self.

However, through life we develop more and more attachment to this physical world, and the voice of the true self becomes muffled. Fortunately, we have been given the struggles and obstacles of life to help us remember who we are.

Dahn Yoga Essentials And Life

Phil on Aug 13th 2009

Every stitch is like a thought that you add to the overall shape of your life. Eventually, thoughts lead to action and the form will emerge, if you can only keep your intent in mind. If you have no clear vision, however, you will end up with a random pile of knotted yarn.

Everything I have achieved in my life happened one stitch at a time. I began with just one single student, and every step that followed was like a carefully placed stitch. Eventually, my plan began to emerge as a whole, just like a sweater takes form.

The key is to keep the big picture always in mind, even when it seems so far away. In my life, I have faced many moments that could have destroyed me. I could have gotten lost in the details of those events and become swept away by the emotions that them. I have come to realize, however, that life no matter how difficult, are only temporary role to play in the world outside us. The true self, on the other hand, is the higher you, the essential and unchanging part of you. It craves the highest forms of human interaction, such as unconditional love and harmonious unity with others. The struggles of life stem from lack of accord between these two selves a predicament that arises from humanity’s unique place in the universe.

“The Heaven”

sunflower on Oct 19th 2007

Through deep meditation, what we will get ?

Maybe it’s ’the heaven’

Ilchi Lee’s Inspiration from Wisdom of Chun Bu Kyung

/Chun/   Heaven, Sky

From the boundless heavens, which are not hindered by anything, learn to have an open heart. Look to the heavens, empty and so able to encompass all things, and learn to have a great heart full of courage, not obsessed with the small things in life.
