Have you ever stopped and asked yourself just why everyone is so busy doing something for the other person yet with a focus on self. This is the most foolish thing that I keep observing in the world. Consider that every product we produce or the service that we provide is about the other person. Yet as we go to work or to our business, we are often so focused on self. What shall I gain from this transaction is often the question that most people ask instead of what shall the person that I serve gain from the transaction. The path to becoming a Dahn Yoga Instructor can be different for each individual. There are three basic classes which all Dahn Yoga members take as part of their training.

Businesses that are most successful are those that have been built to serve others. This is probably where the phrase that customer is always right or the king emanated from. That the motivation of serving men should not be the pay, rather the satisfaction that the person you have served is receives.

There has been variance in the manner in which people may decide to serve each other. This realization is what has driven institutions to formulate some minimum standard packs. One of the most popular minimum standards for respect and service to humanity include UN charters and human rights documents. To an extent, most legal provisions are an attempt to provide minimum standards for tolerance among men. The need for such documents was reinforced with the experiences of the world war and other human crimes.

Religious inspirations from faiths have also encouraged the need to be tolerant and observe some human rights. Jesus Christ in the bible says that the greatest rule is to always treat others just like you would want to be treated. This rule should always form the basis of every human being’s planning and execution of decisions.

This demands that even if one considers him or she to be the greatest, there is need for such a person to serve the other. The best way of assuring that this happens is not even through the legal or moral provision; rather it is in infusing a spirit of service within each of us.

When we are all aware that out purpose in the world is not just to seek self gratification, then we can be successful in ensuring that serving others is our primary purpose. Being a spirit, every human being would better relate to the higher being through this service to each other to the higher being.
